ខេត្តស្វាយរៀង៖ នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី៩ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០១៤ ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋតំណាងសហគមន៍មកពីខេត្តស្វាយរៀងនិងព្រៃវែងនាំគ្នាទៅដាក់ញ្ញត្តិនៅសាលាខេត្តស្វាយរៀង ដើម្បីទាមទារឲ្យមានការដោះលែងអ្នកជាប់ឃុំ២១នាក់។
ក្នុងពេលដែលពួកគាត់ទៅដាក់ញត្តិនោះ ខាងកងកម្លាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ជាពិសេសនគរបាល ក៏បានដាក់ពង្រាយកម្លាំង នៅទីនោះដែរ។
នៅក្នុងញត្តិនោះក្រៅពីទាមទារឲ្យដោះលែងកម្មករ និងសកម្មជនសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស ក៏មានការទាមទារឲ្យមានការដំឡើងប្រាក់ខែគោលដល់កម្មករលើគ្រប់វិស័យឲ្យបាន១៦០ដុល្លារក្នុងមួយខែ និងទាមទារឲ្យរដ្ឋាភិបាលបញ្ឈប់ការប្រើកម្លាំងបាញ់បង្ក្រាបលើបាតុកម្មដោយសន្តិវិធីទៀតដែរ ក៏ប៉ុន្តែខាងអាជ្ញាធរខេត្តមិនទទួលយកទេ ដោយសុំឲ្យបង្វែទៅដាក់នៅរាជធានីភ្នំពេញវិញ ដោយសំអាងថា មិនមែនជាដែនសមត្ថកិច្ចរបស់ខ្លួននោះទេ។
Svay Rieng: February 9, 2014, representatives of people from Prey Veng and Svay Rieng province gather in front of Svay Rieng (#SvayRieng) governor office to submit their petition demanding the release of the 21 who were arrested and sent to prison in Kampong Cham.
The authorities, especially police is also deployed while people are gathering.
In addition to demanding the release the 21 people including workers and human rights activists, they also demand for the increase of basic salary of USD160.00 per month for workers in industries and that the government must stop using armed forces to kill and suppress peaceful demonstrators.
However, the provincial authorities does not accept the petition saying that they are not in any competence to do that and ask the people to send their petition to Phnom Penh municipalitiy.
